After introducing the TH33 that we told you about a short while ago, Four Winns further expands the Twin Hull catamaran family with the TH38, which grows from a watercraft to a boat with an overall length approaching 12 meters. A size that allows it to bear the appellation of weekender, focusing on comfort and usability.

Four Winns TH38

The hand that drew up the design is the same as that of the TH33: Garroni Design and Marc Lombard, who have given the new TH38 all the stylistic features we have come to associate with the American shipyard. The lines are still sleek, dynamic and sporty. The deck layout also remains marked by symmetry with respect to the central corridor, and the aft cockpit – full-beam windshield – bow-rider configuration division. In short, everything devoted to maximum conviviality on board, but with a focus on extended stays on board, thanks to the new possibilities given by the larger dimensions.

Perfect for weekend getaways for 4

Now, below deck, there is room for no less than two cabins, twins, each with a private bathroom with separate shower, one per hull. A great configuration even with a view to chartering or sharing for two couples. In the cockpit, the living area is really large for the size: the yard claims 15 m² of usable area in this area alone. The galley is central, equipped with a sink, 65 L refrigerator and optional grill, and there are sliding benches that transform the living room into a sundeck. To shelter this area even more, a full-height windshield can be chosen instead of the classic low windshield, which is sportier but less protective.

In technical terms, it follows the recipe marked by typical American comfort, mounting a pair of outboards up to 350 hp each. Four Winns TH38 will have its world premiere at the upcoming Cannes Boat Show, Sept. 9-14. As for the price, however, it will start at €470,000 excluding VAT.
