With summer entering its prime, Ranieri International announces a new hull for the season ahead, a vessel ideal for anyone looking for a compact, efficient boat with which to enjoy daily escapades. A new dayboat, in short, with a twist, because there is no shortage of acabin with berths for two, thus also offering the option of extending one’s outings to the full weekend.
At7.8 meters long, strong with powers between 200 and 350 outboard horsepower, here is the new Ranieri NEXT 255 LX, a compact, versatile and complete day-cruiser.
Ranieri Next 255 LX
Ranieri International is well known for both its dinghies and its hulls, whether open or sundeck.
And, every season, it arrives with interesting novelties.
The new NEXT 255 LX is one of them, this year joined by the new Ranieri Cayman 33 Executive in her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival (Sept. 10-15).
While waiting for the world release, meanwhile, let’s see it in more detail in a preview.

Volumes
Straight upright bow, relatively high and slender broadside towards the bow, central console.
At a glance, the new Next 255 LX appears to be a hull with a sporty disposition, aided by the trim and step in the hull, which emerges at planing boat.
The 350-horsepower maximum engine, in fact, should make it a particularly enjoyable hull.
But it’s not all fun.
The goal of the design, in fact, is to provide an elegant and comfortable hull, maximizing every inch of its compact 7.8 by 2.55 meters.

The onboard layout, then, aims to do just that, taking advantage of the center console and forward sundeck to maximize volumes, while leaving room for what is needed to meet comfort requirements.
The folding bimini on deck helps in this objective, providing shelter from the sun even when at anchor or in port.
Ranieri Next 255 LX – Exterior and Interior
Coming, however, to the concrete, the layout of the new 255 LX fully meets the intention, offering several relaxation areas on board.
Aft in the cockpit, a settee accommodates passengers, overlooking a cabinet that actually conceals the outdoor galley.
This is where the sink, refrigerator and induction hob find their place, welcome elements on a daycruiser with weekender ambitions.

Beyond the wheelhouse, the raised sundeck houses a full-beam sundeck, with seating recessed into the deckhouse.
Below this, accessible from the console, the interior volumes, where a separate toilet and double berth provide a room usable as both a cabin and a dressing room during the day.
Motorization and Performance
Coming to the technical component, the 255 LX’s motorization will be outboard and range from a minimum of 200 horsepower to a maximum of 350 horsepower.
The single-step hull, on the other hand, is optimized to minimize hydrodynamic drag thanks to the Third Generation Innovative Hull System.
Simultaneously, an impact absorption system, the Absorbed Shock System aims, precisely, to absorb impacts derived from hitting waves, improving performance and sailing comfort, even in more formed seas.
Finally, the fuel tank, which will have a capacity of 390 liters. Click here to request a quote
