As is now customary, the first scale models had begun circulating at the fall shows. Now the new Pirelli 50 Tecnorib has finally made its debut, the flagship of the brand’s walkarounds that already boasts two best-selling inflatables: the
Pirelli 42
and the
Pirelli 35
. This model, precisely 50 feet, complements upward the offerings of this family of inflatable boats by again declining the features that made the first two famous.
As with the previous two inflatable boats, the strengths on this 15-meter boat remain deck roominess and performance. It is worth noting right away that, just as in previous projects, the two-step hull was designed by the Mannerfelt Design Team. Although it was born as a day boat or as a superyacht support, given its size even inside, the new Pirelli 50 is also suitable for medium-range cruising.

Ted Mannerfelt, now head of Mannerfelt Studio, was in charge of the lines, managing to design a model “that looks fast even from a standstill.” How? With taut tubular lines and sharp deckhouse cuts, softened by the hard-top with a sinuous profile.
As we said above, the main objective of the deck plan is to ensure maximum livability and freedom of movement. Starting from the stern, we find a sundeck equipped with a pantograph backrest that serves as both a sundeck and dining area. Toward the bow we find a dinette with an extendable table on both sides made of teak. The bar/kitchen area, covered by the continuation of the hard top, has a wet bar with sink, cooktop with two induction burners, three refrigerators, and icemaker. In short, everything you could need for a top beach day.
The black-colored dashboard has three seats, with flip-up elements to choose the most appropriate seating. This entire area was designed in a raised position above the rest of the deck to increase visibility.
In the bow is a second sundeck with two guards on either side that also serve as armrests and opposite a sofa in the forward triangle. There are many and ample spaces dedicated to stowage, both fore and aft, allowing you to better organize your stay on board.
All areas of this 15-meter dinghy are easily accessible with side walkways. The treat in this section lies in making the entire perimeter walkway protected by the walls, but not only that. There are two long handrails barely visible from the outside, so as not to litter the line, but easily used by those on board.
As we have come to understand, livability on board is one of the strengths. Not only on deck, but also underneath since this Pirelli inflatable boat is also proposed as a cruiser for short cruises. What does it look like on the inside? There are two double cabins, one in the forward double and one with twin beds in the aft area. Large amounts of luggage can be stowed on board due to the amount of storage compartments. Giving brightness to this area of the boat are the portholes. Completing this area is a beautifully designed bathroom, which features a toilet, sink, and an elegant built-in shower.
The performance aspect on this raft is central. And if the fairing is an Ocke Mannerfelt design, we can be virtually certain that we will not be disappointed. After the excellent results achieved with the previous two projects, the new Pirelli 50 Tecnorib raises the bar again. With two 600-horsepower Mercury Verado V12 outboards at the stern, the new Pirelli 50 touches 50 knots. Despite this, the shipyard offers a choice of different engines for a maximum output of 1,800 horsepower.
The two-step planing hull combines both stability and safety with remarkable top speeds and is designed by Ocke Mannerfelt . The first example of the PIRELLI 50 is powered by a pair of Mercury Verado signature outboards with 600 horsepower each.
